We are a full service animal hospital. The
veterinarian(s) perform elective surgeries Tuesdays through
Fridays, and emergency surgeries as they are needed. Since we do a
lot of shelter work, spays and neuters are our most common
surgeries. Other surgeries such as bladder stone removal,
intestinal foreign body removal, exploratory surgery, and tumor
removals are also common.
Our anaesthetic protocol and equipment is
state of the art. An intravenous catheter is placed in every pet
prior to surgery. The heart rate, respiration rate, percent oxygen,
and temperature, are monitored throughout every surgical procedure.
Quick acting anaesthetics are used so your pet will wake up quickly
and will not suffer lingering effects from anaesthesia.
We have an extensive ward for sick
patients and a second recovery room for surgical patients. The
veterinary staff attends to the pets diligently, and every pet is
made as comfortable as possible. Pain management and nursing care
are strongly emphasized so that the comfort of our patients is
insured. In conclusion, our facilities, equipment, and staff allow
us to provide high quality veterinary care for your beloved furry
friends.
